Class A, Class B - Push Pull, Class AB

 Class A

Bias Stage which preceed the Base of the input of the transistor

if an AC input centers around Zero axis, the positive half of the wave will be conduction  because the transistor is conduction in one direction.

The negative half cycle of the wave form will be lost because the transistor can only handle the positive half of the input signal. 

Bias the Base so that the DC component will lift the input sign wave upwards so that it is always positive. 




Class B    Push Pull 

Reverse Bias, Cutoff Mode = Off
Forward Bias = On
